Serena is an Ontario-based writer and actor. The audio drama pilot she wrote and co-created, Signed, Venus, was selected from over a hundred submissions for feature as a compelling fiction podcast in the PodTales 2020 Podcast Showcase. She voiced the character of Nima in the AudioVerse Awards-winning science fiction audio play Moonbase Theta, Out.Serena is currently an articling student at Cohen Highley LLP, and holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Arts in Women’s Studies and Feminist Research from Western Univerity. Besides her academic studies, Serena has received training in video game writing, ballroom dance, and Arabic, and holds a Certificate in Intercultural Communications for Japanese. Her experience includes creative, corporate, academic, and legal writing.
